| Exact protocol should be followed when replacing the
battery. Make sure not to use other tools, which may
short-circuit the battery, and do not use a battery
smaller than the one currently installed. |

1. Turn off
the engine and extract the key. |

2. When replacing
the battery, first remove cables from the negative
terminal and then from the positive terminal of
the battery. |

3. Unfasten
the bolts of the installation rack and remove
the old battery. |

4. Place the
new battery on the installation rack and tighten
the bolts. Press down using the hands to make
sure that the battery is firmly in place.

5. When connecting
cables, connect it first to the positive terminal
and then to the negative terminal of the new battery.
